Boomers--Then & Today

What is special about this generation? Some were groomed in the Fifties, listening to "How Much is That Doggie in the Window." They grew up with American Bandstand and Mickie Mouse, one show following the other on TV. Later ones listening to the Beatles on their tricycles. Already, a difference in their experience.

And today we often see that it's the elder Boomers on the street corners, still protesting the inequalities and absurdities of the world. [Like war.] Below are David Crosby and Graham Nash singing new and old protest songs as they have done for decades.

How are the Boomers managing in the digital world? How are they entertaining themselves? Do they still listen to the classic recordings of the Sixties? Or do they mostly enjoy classical or World Music?

So many issues and angles to explore in my book: YOUTH PLANET: THE SIXTIES IN A MUSIC CENTURY. The Events, Escapades, Issues and Insights. When it's ready to share, you can join me in this musical escapade through the years, our years that all ages still enjoy today.
